Dr. Robin Elizabeth Hancock is an early childhood educator, an author, traveler, yogi, foodie, cello player, horse lover and global citizen. Over the last ten years she has taught in early years classrooms in the United States, Gambia and South Africa. In addition, Dr. Hancock has served as the coordinator of the New York-based global education non-profit, Reach The World and as managing director of the University of California, Berkeley division of Jumpstart for Young Children.
She is a member of several organizations including the American Educational Research Association, The National Association for the Education of Young Children and The Association of Black Anthropologists. She also serves as a reviewer for the Journal of Negro Education and currently holds an appointment with the International Honors Society in Education, Kappa Delta Pi. Dr. Hancock is an Alumni of Oberlin College. She graduated from Brandeis University with a Masters in Anthropology and earned her doctorate from Teachers College, Columbia University with a concentration in global citizenship education in May of 2015.
Dr. Robin has traveled to 16 different countries and gone through 3 passports.

Dr. Robin (known to loved ones as “Bobbie” or “Liz” ) currently has several articles in review for publication. To date she has traveled to 16 different countries and gone through 3 passports. In her free time, she enjoys traveling and attending international conferences on education and human rights. Never one to be categorized, she recently completed her yoga teacher’s certification and is currently exploring doula training programs while launching her television series, All of This is Yours.
